Granite counter tops can now be accomplished in several ways.  Traditional slab counters are the most versatile and offer the largest selection of colors and edges.  However they are also the most expensive.  In the past cost conscious home owners have used 12X12 granite squares as an alternative to slab counters.  Using granite tiles for your counters helped shave costs but was very labor intensive, not as durable or as easy to maintain as slab counters.  We do not offer this service because we have found that the third type of  granite tops is almost as cost efficient and significantly more beneficial than granite tiles . Today you have a third option.  Prefab granite blanks offer all the positives of slab tops but are more cost efficient for smaller basic kitchens. The  8’X25” blanks arrive ready for installation in your kitchen. They come bull nosed with a 4” backsplash.
